SUMMARY:Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)-Hybrid
DESCRIPTION:This is a self paced open course that anyone can enroll in duri
 ng 2026.  The course must be completed within 4 months.  There is a one t
 ime extension available for 2 months\, but that does come with additional f
 ees.\nOur Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course combines online\, lectur
 e-based instruction with hands-on skills training. Students are required to
  demonstrate competency in required practical skills and successfully compl
 ete written examinations and other assigned coursework. \nThe EMR course i
 s designed to prepare students to provide immediate\, lifesaving care to pa
 tients while awaiting the arrival of additional EMS resources and to assist
  EMTs and paramedics once they arrive.\nStudents who successfully complete 
 all course requirements will be eligible to take the National Registry Emer
 gency Medical Responder (NREMT) certification examination\, provided all ap
 plicable National Registry eligibility requirements are met.\nCourse Format
 \nYou are registering for the upcoming EMR course for the dates listed abov
 e.\nThis course DOES NOT meet in person for regularly scheduled classroom i
 nstruction. Course content is completed online through a self-paced format.
  There are no weekly requirements\, however the course must be completed wi
 thin the timeframe allowed.\nIn-person skills days are required. (2) Two Sk
 ills sessions will be conducted in Dallas or\, when arrangements have been 
 made in advance\, at a predetermined location for students who are outside 
 the Dallas area. Students must attend and successfully complete all require
 d skills sessions to complete the program.\nYour payment confirms your regi
 stration in the course. Appropriate course materials and additional instruc

 r website.\nRefund Policy\nA student who withdraws at least 30 days prior t
 o the first day of class will receive a full refund of the course fee\, les
 s any fees already incurred for items such as drug screening\, background c
 hecks\, credit card processing fees\, or other nonrefundable expenses.\nAll
  course materials must be returned at the time the refund request is made a
 nd must be in new\, resalable condition. Materials may include textbooks\, 
 workbooks\, manuals\, uniforms\, equipment\, or other items provided as par
 t of the course. If materials are not returned or are not in new\, resalabl
 e condition\, the cost of those materials will be deducted from the refund 
 amount.\nOnline courses are not eligible for a refund after the first day s
 igning in.\nNo refunds are issued after the first scheduled class meeting.
